POLITICAL ACTION WORK and SMMCTA/CTA/NEA 

It is CRUNCH TIME for gathering signatures for the Santa Monicans For Reliable School Funding Parcel Tax. There are still many opportunities for our teachers to get involved. And, if you live in Santa Monica we need YOUR signature 
We know educators do a lot and we ask a lot from them, but 75 teachers' jobs are on the line if we don't secure funding so your support is valuable. We will provide brief training on-line and/or on-site training. We will also have talking points and best practices for signature gathering.  (Only use blue/black ink, remind them to use the name they are registered to vote under, be a Santa Monica Resident, etc.)  

And, if you are a registered voter in Santa Monica, WE NEED YOUR SIGNATURE, please stop by the office (1508 18th street) on your way home to sign the petition or email me at smmctamembers@smmcta and I can have someone meet you.
