From SMMCTA LEADERSHIP & MEMBERS on District Issues. Stay tuned for our School Board Endorsements We do support and endorse the Santa Monicans For Reliable School Funding Parcel Tax and the Statewide Prop 3. We know educators do a lot and we ask a lot from them, but 75 teachers' jobs are on the line if we don't secure funding so your support is valuable. We will provide brief training on-line and/or on-site training. We will also have talking points and best practices for encouraging residents to vote YES. SMDP Article "School Board Backs November Parcel Tax, Adopts Budget Revision, and Tax-Collection Deal.
